We all need it. Most of us love it. Food, that is. And there is a banquet of opportunities for writing about food—feature articles, restaurant reviews, travel pieces, personal stories (memoirs), and, of course, cookbooks. Food writing encompasses any kind of writing that focuses on food, be it a review of a restaurant down the street, an article on paprika, a story about helping your grandma in the kitchen, or your collection of recipes for catfish. In this course, you’ll learn about the various types of food writing, how to gather and focus ideas, and how to capture the wonders of food in words. You will also learn how and where to market your work. |
