SEMI-FINALISTS ANNOUNCED
 

Congratulations to the 23 semi-finalists of the 2011 Young Adult Novel Discovery Contest!

The works of these writers were selected from nearly 1,000 entries to move to the finalist round. Editors from eight major publishing houses are reading and judging these entries now. Their decision will determine the competition winners.

JUDGING
YA literary agent Regina Brooks and a select group of readers read all of the entries to  determine the 24 semi-finalists. These submissions are now being read by:

These judges will whittle the top 24 down to five, and each of the five winners will be provided commentary on their submissions. The winners should be announced by February 28. All writers who entered the competition will receive an email when the winners are announced.
