Aubrey Poole

Aubrey Poole has acquired, edited, and co-created hundreds of picture books and middle-grade and young-adult titles as an editor for Hachette Books and Sourcebooks, Inc. As an editor with JIMMY Books, the children’s book imprint founded by author James Patterson, she edited several of Patterson’s best-selling series, including the middle-grade Dog Diaries novels and the young adult Crazy House books. With the estate of Albert Einstein, she co-created the Max Einstein series of picture books, and she also launched and edited the Santa Is Coming regional picture book series. She has written for Publishing Perspectives, and has taught for the Society of Children’s Books Writers and Illustrators. She holds a BA from the University of Southern California.
