Excerpt: Animal Crackers
Gotham fiction teacher Hannah Tinti's Animal Crackers, a collection of short stories all related to animals, has recently been released in paperback.  The Daily Telegraph (UK) proclaimed, “Tinti writes a sharp, snappy, deadpan prose that shifts easily between black, knockabout comedy and a more tender form of irony.  This is a witty, lively and inventive collection of stories.”  One of the stories, “Home Sweet Home,” was selected for the Best American Mystery Stories series and also appears in Gotham Writers’ Workshop’s anthology Fiction Gallery.
