Dear Gotham,

I’m so excited to share my success story.

Gotham Writers is definitely part of my recent success. So far, I have taken Creative Writing 101, Fiction I, and I’m currently taking Memoir I through Gotham.

In class, I’ve been refining my writing skills and gaining confidence. I also connected with another writer and we developed a partnership—reading each other’s work and providing constructive feedback and urging each other to seek publication. This is the fire that birthed my piece “Corps of Discovery” and forged my success.

“Corps of Discovery” appears as “I Carry You With Me” in the blog of the National Parks Foundation. 

As a voice actor and former grant proposal writer, I’m excited to see my words and thoughts going out into the world. I’m charged to keep writing and to seek other opportunities to share my work.
