Nandita Dinesh is the author of the novels what's your diagnosis? (Dzanc Books, forthcoming) and This Place | That Place (Melville House), as well as several works of nonfiction, including Creative Writing and the Experiences of Others: Strategies for Outsiders, and Writing In-Between: Collaborative Meaning Making in Performative Writing (both Routledge). Her essays have appeared in LitHub, Guernica, and Writer’s Digest, among others, and she writes Notes from Nandita on Substack. She has created community theatre in Kashmir, Rwanda, South Africa, and Mexico, and taught for United World Colleges, Mount Tamalpais College at San Quentin State Prison, and San Francisco University High School. She holds a BA from Wellesley College, an MA in Performance Studies from New York University, and a Ph.D in Drama from the University of Cape Town.
