Andrew Collins has served as editor and writer on more than 200 guidebooks for Fodor’s Travel Publications, including the Arizona, Caribbean, Colorado, Florida, New Mexico, Oregon, and Pacific Northwest titles. He has also written for Moon Handbooks, and contributed to a number of Zagat guides. He has served as editor-in-chief of the travel/lifestyle magazines OutAlohaand OutCity Northwest. He’s the expert “guide” on gay and lesbian travel for About.com, and has written for Orbitz.com, Travel + Leisure, The Advocate, Sunset, New Mexico Magazine, and various AAA publications. He holds a BA from Wesleyan University.
Sarah McColl was the founding editor-in-chief of Yahoo Food, and her food writing has appeared in Bon Appetit, Food52, Epicurious, House Beautiful, Edible Brooklyn, and Take Part, among many others. Her essays have appeared in South Dakota Review, In Context Journal, and in the anthology The Shell Game (University of Nebraska Press, forthcoming). She’s been a senior editor and producer for Condé Nast Publications, and worked for Cambridge University Press. She holds a BA from Macalester College and an MFA in creative writing from Sarah Lawrence College.
